L3,U3,6 signage
« on: August 11, 2012, 09:00:28 PM »
i tried running upper 3 today, and had no idea where i was most of the way back through. i was constantly looking at the map trying to make sense of it. stair step was well marked, but not much else. i was looking for the bowl on upper3 and never did find it. found some nicely placed campers, and the old office, but couldnt find that bowl.

so basically what i'm trying to say is at some point in time could you get down there and mark those trails a lil better. i saw on the map that trail 6 shoots off of u3, but never did see signs that said trail 6.

thanks love what you all do for us.

That area's been on our "to do" list for a while.  Hope to get new signs put up in the next couple months.   I think the hole you're referring to is Drain Plug.  That went away with the new parking lot, but we now have a new hole up on top of the road leading down to the lower office.  That hole's been giving folks major fits after a good rain, so it'll probably get named Drain Plug Jr.

U3 is on our list.  This year has been crazy with plant growth.  I swear everything grew 5ft this year.

We have been running some of the overgrown stuff and trying just to keep it open.  We ran part of 6 and it was almost completely over grown the same with Stoudt trail not to long ago.
